About

Federal-Vision.com has been created as a place to find resources pertaining to the Federal Vision, Covenant Theology, and Reformed Theology. Our goal it to provide links, articles, videos, debates, and other resources pertaining to the Federal Vision. There has been much confusion and heated debate concerning the Federal Vision, and this is our attempt to clear some of the dust. While the authors of this site believe that the so called “Federal Vision” is within the bounds of orthodoxy, and in line with the historic Reformed faith, they desire that both sides be heard out. This is the reason that you will find not only links by subscribers to the Federal Vision, but also links and resources of those who appose it. We will, however, exclude material and links of those who shame the name of Christ and his Church by slandering their brothers in Christ. We are called to be one in Christ, to observe the Golden Rule, and to draw the line of Christian fellowship only where Christ draws the line.

If you would like to submit material for this site, whether you have concerns about the Federal Vision, fully endorse the Federal Vision, are not sure, or like many, if you are somewhere in the middle, please email me at daniel@federal-vision.com.  However, only do so if your highest goal is not that “your camp” wins, but rather that Christ would be honoured, and his Body built up.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
for brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is like the precious ointment upon the head,
that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard:
that went down to the skirts of his garments;

As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that
descended upon the mountains of Zion:
for there the LORD commanded the blessing,
even life for evermore.

Psalm 133:1-3 KJV

Speaking of the unity of the Church, I highly recommend the following lecture, by Dr. David Field, delivered at New Saint Andrews College’s Calvin@500 lecture.

  1. I have a question about the Joint Federal Vision Statement. I wasn’t sure where to post the question, but here it goes:

    “Another difference is whether or not personal regeneration represents a change of nature in the person so regenerated. Some of us say yes while others question whether we actually have such an “essence” that can be changed.”

    What does that mean? Who holds this view? What exactly is being rejected by those who reject a change in nature? What are the ramifications?
